- Conducted fundamental, technical, and market research in states with renewable portfolio standards and tradable REC markets. This included becoming an expert in RPS laws (from headline targets to minute details), individual solar and wind projects and broader build rates across market segments, statewide electricity sales and efficiency trends, REC retirement trends, and combing through regulatory reports and proceedings.- Built and maintained primary trading models forecasting REC market balance- Crafted memos recommending trade strategies based on the results of my research and excel modeling- Tracked and analyzed pending and existing state legislation

I coordinate group purchasing programs of solar PV for neighborhoods and organizations across DC, MD, VA, WV, OH and FL. By educating communities about solar through public info meetings, email, and telephone communications, I've developed expertise in boiling down complicated technological, policy, and regulatory concepts into accessible and actionable information for everyday consumers.In this role I solicit competitive bids from solar contractors on behalf of solar co-op participants, and then manage the relationship with the selected contractor. With over 50 co-ops completed and 1,000 homeowners contracted for solar, this has given me a unique view into best practices for solar contractors with regards to sales, marketing, customer service, and operations.I also developed and now administer our organization's Salesforce CRM platform, which has allowed CPN to scale rapidly into new states. In each of these states there are key issues of policy, such as net metering, renewable portfolio standards, grid of the future, and community solar, where I have researched or participated in the lawmaking process. I have gained experience tracking legislation, advocating for policies, and organizing grassroots campaigns.
