• Assist ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals in resolving complex coverage and reimbursement issues that may create barriers to reimbursement of OMIDRIA.• Educate provider offices and their reimbursement representatives on reimbursement processes and claims submissions procedures of payer organizations (local payers, government payers, etc.)• Evaluate fee schedules quarterly in regards to ASP changes and update accounts on that and sequestration. • Support 8 surgical sales reps and 1 hospital rep for Omidria and coordinate with reps on field assignments, customer communications, and visits.• Knowledge of CMS 1500 claim form/UB04 claim form• Understanding of Novitas and Noridian MACs• Consult with Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), hospital c suite, administration, billing supervisors and clearing houses in 13 Western States to include, AZ, CA, NM, CO, WY, MT, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, AK, HI.• Instruct and develop surgical staff on proper billing and coding techniques in conjunction with reimbursement of Omidria from Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, VA, and other private payers, to ensure a smooth billing and reimbursement process.• Develop successful customer relationships to form partnerships. • Work with billing staffs in regards to denials and appeals for Omidria• Organize claims with providers and patient reimbursement programs.
