Before I entered high school, I was surrounded by mid to late 20 year olds everyday. This group consisted of personal trainers, physical therapy students, and mental sports performance coaches. Throughout 5 years of being in that environment, the information and connections I built are long lasting and impactful. I wish to leave impressions like this on future athletes. Studying kinesiology and exercise science is what I’ve wanted to do since I was a sophomore in high school because I love learning about how fascinating the body is. I hope to study alongside athletic trainers and physical therapists to understand rehabilitation and injury prevention, along with how to build training programs for those who have been impacted by injury.
