The Global CCS Institute is an international membership organisation, with a mission to accelerate the development, demonstration and deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS), a vital technology to tackle climate change and provide energy security. The institute is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia with offices in Washington DC, Brussels, Beijing and Tokyo. As Manager, Media & Communications I am responsible for developing and implementing global communication strategies across traditional, digital, social and owned media.In this internationally focused media relations and publications production role, I manage the global Media and Communications team to promote awareness and advocacy support for carbon capture and storage (CCS) low-carbon technology. I use strategic communications to help advocate for CCS as a vital technology in tackling climate change and providing energy security.
