I am a recent graduate of William Jewell College. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree and played on the basketball team all 4 years. I have enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at KU to further my education and prepare for the CPA exam.My leadership roles on the basketball team and being president of campus bible study group called "Pursue" have prepared me well for the professional world. These experiences have helped me improve my communication, discipline, and leadership skills.As an audit and assurance intern with Deloitte, I am gaining valuable, hands-on experience in the accounting world. This experience is broadening my understanding of accounting principles and preparing me to solve any problems that I may face down the road. I am looking forward to learning more about accounting through this audit and assurance internship.
