As a Criminal Justice student at Southeastern University, I am on a dedicated path to building a career that bridges law enforcement, justice, and service. My goal is to become a U.S. Marshal agent in the Department of Justice, and I am committed to gaining the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to succeed in this dynamic and challenging field. In addition to my academic pursuits, I currently work as a photographer, where I refine my ability to remain calm under pressure, pay meticulous attention to detail, and capture moments that tell a story. These qualities are not only essential in photography but also directly transferable to a career in law enforcement, where precision and the ability to remain focused in high-stress situations are key to success. My career background extends beyond my photography work. During high school, I worked at a local restaurant and spent summers as a camp counselor. These roles taught me valuable interpersonal skills, including effective communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment honed my ability to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure, while my experience as a camp counselor developed my leadership abilities and taught me how to manage and support a diverse group of individuals in challenging situations. These formative experiences have shaped my understanding of human behavior and reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in criminal justice. As I continue to progress in my studies and work experiences, I am eager to combine my background in photography, customer service, and youth mentorship with the strong foundation in criminal justice I am building at Southeastern University. I am excited to contribute to the U.S. Marshals' mission of protecting federal witnesses, apprehending fugitives, and ensuring the safety of our communities.I look forward to the opportunities ahead and am always open to connecting with others in the criminal justice field as I work toward my goal of becoming an agent with the U.S. Marshals Service

PhotographerSelf-Employed Aug 2019 - PresentI got my first camera at age 11 and loved capturing special moments ever since. I love to do this as a hobby and passion but also allowed my God given talents to be used as a part time career. Making it into a small business is something that has been in the works for a long time but I love to get to know people and capture their special moments, stories, etc.

Summer Camp CounselorLee County Parks & Recreation Jun 2024 - Aug 2024Matlacha, FlI gained strong leadership in guiding children to have a fun and entertaining summer Monday through Fridays from 8-5. I became more aware of ways to better communicate with younger generations and teach them discipline in everyday life. I got the chance to learn creative skills and use them to make sure the campers were having fun. This was a brand new experience so I learned how to adapt to the summer child care system.Problem solving and resolving conflicts with children was another skill I adapted to and learned more from being hired as a summer camp counselor. I gained more confidence in my teamwork skills when working with the other camp counselors to play games and do crafts with children. -
