I've been working in various media for over twenty years now, and whether it was tech-directing a dance troupe or writing copy for a blog or editing video, it's all been about helping my clients tell their stories. Lately I've been expanding my skillset to include web development including javascript, jquery, Bootstrap, and other technologies.I formed this company to continue this work at a higher level - using my experience and creativity to help clients tell their story. The right story, to the right people, at the right time. For one client that meant a voiceover; for another it meant setting up a podcast for her; for another it means creating newsletters and blog posts.It also means my own story, through LoveLifePractice.com and other projects. I work with community groups to plan and execute conferences using the Open Space Technology developed by Harrison Owen. These are events where attendees focus on issues they are passionate about using a system of self-organizing agenda creation and interest-directed processes. Every Open Space is different, and my work is to facilitate: helping each individual group get the most out of the process that they can, as well as turning the results into action. I have worked with groups as small as eight and as large as 500, as well as assisting leading Open Space trainers such as Lisa Heft with their programs.

I've worked on various media platforms, designing the appropriate methods for my clients to deliver their message to their intended audience. With a wide range of formats available, I've been able to help them decide which is best for their organization and purpose and then deliver it in a very cost-efficient way.

"Practical tools to make hard times happier." That's the purpose of the Love Life Practice blog, where three times a week we tackle hard questions about love, life, and the practices we do day in and day out. My work as a sexuality educator is both within the alternative communities of kink and queer advocacy and also as outreach to other mainstream groups. For example, I have taught safe bondage techniques to couples in NYC (in association with Tied Up Events) and also presented on general BDSM and kink topics for organizations from the University of WI to the Erotic Authors Association. I bring the skills of a professional presenter to a tricky subject without pre-judging, trying to provide information and education to people and help them better understand the rich diversity of human relationships and sexuality.

I edit educational video snippets from experts on relationships, communication, human sexuality, and cultural politics for use on websites, YouTube, and DVDs.

I write short SEO optimized articles for various departments including Dance, Dating, Cheerleading, Social Networking, Web Design, and other subjects.

I helped this company market their high-end hand-tooled products to a wider national and global audience through both social media and in-person marketing. They achieved premium word-of-mouth recognition within their target demographic during the time I worked with them.

I build and coordinate the online marketing department of this closing company which works with timeshare acquisition and disposal. Involves HTML, CSS, copywriting, image manipulation, strategic planning, inventory control, and work flow streamlining as our company has tripled in size since I started. Best achievement to date: improving sales processing workflow by over 30% through suggested site restructuring. I'm REALLY proud of that.

Aside from web hosting, this has also become the performance/writing arm focusing on alternative relationships and sexuality advocacy, education, and performance art. I've worked with Foxy Veronica's Peach Pies in Madison, the Leather Leadership Conference, created an Unconference that has traveled around the country, and also written 3 novels (2 printed, one in process) and several articles and short stories. I've also been producing a podcast known as "the Ropecast" since February of 1995.
