I am a new educator interested in curriculum design, critical and cutting-edge pedagogies, and educational policy. I am also interested in business development and strategy, and business technology and services. I have worked in a variety of different fields, taking skills developed in each trade to apply to future careers. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Transylvania University in Sociology and Anthropology. While there, I also completed a minor in French language studies. I am proficient in written and spoken French and French translation and interpretation. I recently graduated from the University of San Francisco with my Master of Arts in Migration Studies. I conducted my thesis research on culturally sustaining pedagogies and their use in working with migrant-origin students. Beyond education, I have several years of experience in event planning and coordination through my work at Transylvania University, Breakout Games, and Musée Paléospace l’Odyssée. I enjoy working with others, whether coworkers, vendors, or clients and customers. I pride myself on my ability to provide clients with personalized and exceptional customer service. I also have over four years experience in conflict intervention and resolution. I firmly believe that if you are willing to teach me, I am both willing and excited to learn new skills and techniques in any field I enter.
