I'm an expert in the UK energy sector's digitalisation efforts. My main focus is policy and regulation relating to data and digitalisation as well as the digital infrastructure we need for a Net Zero energy system.I have recently joined NESO where I am supporting the development of the Data Sharing Infrastructure and it's governance through the Virtual Energy System programme. At Energy Systems Catapult I contributed to the Energy Digitalisation Taskforce as well as the Offshore Data Taskforce. I led the Catapult's work on DESNZ's 'Automatic Asset Registration' competition as well as the 'Delivering Energy Sector Digitalisation' paper promoting the creation of a 'Digitalisation Orchestrator'. I made large contributions to the development of the 'Data Sharing Infrastructure' proposed in the digital spine feasibility study. I previously worked at Ofgem where I consulted on and published Ofgem's first 'Data Best Practice' and 'Digitalisation Strategy and Action Plan' guidance documents and contributed to the Governments first Energy Digitalisation Strategy in 2021.
