Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture team member responsible for design and delivery of strategies, road-maps, and technology that support the achievement of target business goals in a cost effective, efficient, future ready manner.Projects include:- lead architect for structured and unstructured data domains- co-author of cloud strategy for enterprise infrastructure- author/creator of enterprise cloud data strategy- author/creator of enterprise unstructured data strategy- author/creator of enterprise strategy to support worker technology and enterprise BYOD strategy- enterprise leadership to support, maintain and champion the repository for managing Unum's technology inventory and the life cycles of those technologies within the enterprise

Responsibilities included Wintel database engineering, high availability design and engineering for SQL Server, performance tuning, data center capacity management, x86 hardware vendor management, hardware engineering, configuration and procurement, etc. Additional responsibilities include leading an enterprise wide team responsible for analyzing business/technical requests and provisioning appropriate Wintel and architectural solutions to meet the business needs.

Responsible for logical and physical database implementations on multiple platforms (SQL Server and DB2 mainframe). Lead DBA for design, implementation and care and feeding for high availability solutions.
