I started my career path by deciding to take the Mechanical Engineering Technology program in College. Using the foundation of the knowledge I gained, I decided to follow in my father's foot-steps and moved to Toronto to start my apprenticeship in air conditioning with Local 787 Refrigeration union and was lucky enough to start working with Black and McDonald Ltd. I was fortunate to have received all the valuable training that the JTAC of local 787 had to offer. Thirty years later my 30 year career came to an unplanned ending, which made me alter my path. This brought me back to school, but only this time I'm the Instructor. Teaching provincial Fuel Certificate courses and air conditioning courses to the students through the years has given me great pleasure. When I teach, I learn, and I have learned so much more by doing what I love.
