The position directs and oversees the execution of the following duties that are performed by both leaders and individual contributors: Detailed maintenance and construction of rate calculation sheets (control documents used for revenue calculation for approximately 200 rates and 500 rate combinations); Development and maintenance support of supplemental rate calculation tools; Rate interpretation and calculation design based on mandated and directed rate modifications; Rate and bill calculation testing and validation, including a detailed relationship and handoff process between internal departments; Billing defect identification, interpretation and resolution; Print bill validation for presentation, and compliance; Coordination and validation of monthly bill messaging to customers determined by rate class or geographical location; Detailed tracking and facilitation of billing data requests relating to Executive level customer complaints; Budget planning and forecasting for a $19M postage budget; forecast and manage impacts due to business modifications from the United States Postal Service (USPS); Bulk Mail liaison between the USPS and SCE’s Customer Service Organization, providing detailed USPS requirements to the various organizations throughout SCE responsible for bulk mail; Help support and manage the Bulk Mail Compliance program directed by SCE’s Ethics and Compliance office; Manage the returned mail process for all deposits, monthly billing statement, collection notices, and general correspondence letters to help improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
