Experienced Leisure Contract Manager who has worked in the industry 27 years.Finalist in the Business Man of the Year Awards 2013 for both Basildon and Essex Countywide, as well as achieving nine Manager of the Quarter awards internally within my work company and remaining in the top 3 managers on performance consistently for the last 10 years. I have also progressed my site with the rest of the centre team, finishing high in many external awards for work in areas such as Flame, Health Club Awards and achieving Quest Excellent. Experienced in both single and multi-site Management, I have opened and managed two brand new builds in my career including the opening and project management of the £38m Basildon Sporting Village, which I continued to manage for the last 4 years.Overseeing the management team and 200 colleagues and achieving an income in excess of £3m at a centre that has an average attendance of 110,000 visits per month, the experiences in my role include the management of financial budgets, P & L accounts, contract management including DBOM, Interface, and output specification contracts, client submissions, H & S, Quest, and all other management functions.
