As Managing Director, I’ve sought to invest in QinetiQ Australia’s deep technical expertise and engineering capabilities, while developing pathways that draw upon QinetiQ’s global experience. Some of my personal highlights from the last few years would have to include:- Being recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality by WGEA, with 50% of our Leadership roles held by some very inspiring women;- Our commitment to reconciliation action, including the hiring of some incredible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander apprentices and trainees across our business; and- Supporting our veteran community (which includes over 30% of our own workforce) by raising over $100,000 for Legacy in QinetiQ’s inaugural Kokoda Track fundraiser.We’re proud to be a chosen partner to Defence, Government, Academia and Industry, delivering trusted expertise across all warfare domains. I believe our increased investment across operational and technical capabilities, including bespoke engineering design and development, embedded workshop operations, and Test & Evaluation Range operations is key to our future growth trajectory.
