North American sold the piling division to Keller Group PLC from the UK in July 2013 www.keller.co.uk. With the transaction, I was offered a position with the new company overseeing the contract management of the piling/tank service operations for all regions (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Milton).- Participate in tender reviews, draft contract qualifications ensuring contract documents reflect Company’s interests with respect to scope of work and terms and conditions. - Provide support to Company divisions with respect to contractual issues/change management/claims throughout the project until close out. - Participate in review and formation of subcontract agreements ensuring subcontract documents reflect Company’s interests with respect to scope of work and terms and conditions. - Negotiation of Joint Venture Agreements with various First Nation businesses. - Liaise with corporate legal counsel on contract related matters for Keller Canada companies. - Present Contract and Change Management policies during internal project management training sessions.

Managed Alstom subcontracts for the boiler installation at Epcor Keephills 3 project including insulation, post weld heat treatment services and orbital welding. Reviewed and analyzed bid documents, terms and conditions, and equipment agreements for various contracts and provided recommendations to the customer. Developed purchase orders for subcontractor services.

Performed procurement, expediting and subcontract coordination.Developed the material release program to the shop floor. Managed engineering change requests and request for information (RFI’s) Assisted with QA turnover packages.

Developed and implemented material release plan to the work sites for the 05 and 06 turnarounds meeting the key performance indicator (KPI) established by Petro Canada. Sourced services and subcontractors required for each turnaround. Guided junior material coordinators working on the project. Composed and coordinated solutions to streamline the Bantrel Procurement System.

Initiated project to review material control process to streamline release of materials. Standardized a quality assurance/control program for receiving inspections. Created and presented a technical paper at the PCL Excellence in Construction conference on pipe spool fabrication and module construction. Supervised material control department.

Ensured materials/equipment deliveries were aligned with project schedule on the mechanical outfitting of the first gravity base oil facility structure built in Canada. Sourced vendors and reviewed documentation for materials/equipment. Chaired weekly meetings between Kiewit and Hibernia management group.
