An experienced actor and writer, I choose work environments in which I can engage with enthusiastic, enquiring minds. I have been either entertaining or educating, often both, for over twenty years.Publications: “The Bronze Sentinels”, “The Testament of Doctor Polidori”, “The Hidden Extra”, “Assassination on the Latin Bridge”, “Trinity’s Wake” & “Watching the World Go By”. My primary genre as a writer is Young Adult and Historical Fantasy.At Highclere Castle, I present private tours to groups of high-paying, multinational visitors, working to my own script designed to accommodate all levels of audience engagement, entertain and educate. During public opening, when thousands descend upon the Castle, the role takes on an element of ‘crowd wrangling’, keeping people happy and engaged.As a Clinical & Educational Psychology Simulator for the University of Southampton & UCL, I role-play for student examinations. It is essential that the interaction – in-depth half-hour long, five or six sessions a day – feels authentic. I highly value this contribution to our trainee psychologists’ education, preparing them for care of the public. I have been working as an Actor & Walk-On in Films & TV since 1992. Including Harry Potter, James Bond & Marvel films; long term engagements incl “Casualty” (2000-11) and “Holby City” (2011-21); recently, “EastEnders”, “Endeavour”, streaming hits “Ted Lasso” and “Sex Education”. Requires track record of reliability and punctuality; ability to improvise or deliver dialogue under pressure. As a Lead Performer at the Magical Christmas Experience at 4 Kingdoms, I am core team for this huge indoor immersive event. This year, as Front of House MC, I entertained excited youngsters whilst managing the expectations of long-suffering parents! As Santa, I always focus on creating intimate, uplifting sessions to bring loved ones closer together.
