• Personally designed their next gen highly integrated Linux based security platform, which led to the acquisition of LifeShield by Directv in June 2013. This new platform will be available to Directv customers in Q2 2014.

• Responsible for hardware team to develop board level and complete system designs for both customer and internal development, incorporating various STM DVD chipsets.
• Involved in design of ST’s first customer DVD player to go into mass production in 2001.
• Developed various ‘production quality’ customer reference design ‘kits’ for DVD players.
• Designed numerous internal development boards to enable chip and software evaluation and feature development.
• Assisted customers with production startup.

• Manufacturer of digital media software and hardware for PC and CE OEMs.
• Responsible for development, manufacturing and quality of hardware products for the PC, consumer and set-top markets.
• Design of several models of DVD hardware decoder boards for PC’s and consumer products.
• Found and managed relationships with contract manufacturers, including off shore.
• Manufactured up to 70k boards/month for Dell Computer.
• Worked with Dell production facilities in US, Malaysia and Ireland.

• Small start-up that developed and manufactured an innovative medical workstation for eye surgery.
• Designed medical system used to perform the first Lasik eye surgery procedure in the US.
• Responsible for the all electrical and software design of the system.
