· Safely and efficiently lead and manage safety across various contractors and construction partners reinforcing stop the job and visual felt safety leadership.· Business case development and planning to ensure IRR/NPV metrics are compliant while adhering to Newcrest’s governance enabling successful competent independent review (CIR) at each gating.· Full accountability for engineering and execution expenditure and delivery of schedule activities adhering to study milestones with multiple engineers and project manager reports. · Manage Engineering compliance ensuring Australian standards were incorporated in all designs and work planning for infrastructure covering but not limited to, 55km Haul Road, 72km of 66kva power line, camp, ponds, workshops, IT/OT, ventilation shafts, paste plant, tailings handling, process plant upgrades, and all non-processing activities. · Construction of all surface infrastructure including roads, workshops, buildings, evaporation ponds, IT/OT, vent raise, 220 man camp, water bores, borrow pits and other Non-process infrastructure ensuring compliance with engineering designs. · Engagement with traditional owners to actively explain and agree on further developments to be undertaken. · Manage and lead project schedule updates integrating latest engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities; review schedule updates and impacts ensuring critical path activities are actively managed and to mitigate delays. · Manage applicable project change/trend notices to ensure project governance, compliance and communicate with leadership team on a regular basis. · Define all surface disturbance requirements in concept phase to enable heritage clearance effectiveness ensuring appropriate flora and fauna studies were undertaken removing approval delays. · Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders/committees/management communicating principal project material and evidence at various stages.
