I am passionate about supporting and inspiring students through teaching and mentoring them as they pursue their calling in cross-cultural vocations in North America and international contexts. I have been teaching and mentoring students in higher education for the past 17 years in both Costa Rica and in the U.S.. I believe education should include experiential learning and I have enjoyed taking students outside of the classroom both locally and internationally, including study abroad opportunities in Rwanda and Costa Rica on multiple trips. Connecting with reputable organizations and brilliant leaders has been influential and inspiring for students aspiring to work among the world's most vulnerable.Recently, I have joined together with my wife and some good friends in Málaga, Spain in founding a travel company aimed at supporting people on pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago and beyond. I look forward to supporting pilgrims seeking spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.
