Scaled Agile uses Salesforce Communities to host a learning platform that acquires over 10k new members every month, with over 500k total users. I am the lead engineer on a team of two Salesforce engineers, and we build & maintain features for this community using Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex and standard Salesforce capabilities.- Implemented Stripe for Community B2C payments, which led to a 0.75% reduction in overall processing fees, lowered our PCI level to the lowest of SAQ-A and created a stable automated order fulfillment process, reducing refunds by 87%.- Implemented an event-based architecture around learner achievements & certifications, which worked consistently within the platform limits and removed a huge block to our ability to scale.- Led and mentored engineers over multiple projects, which allowed us to decrease overall time-to-market for new features by 50%, allowed us to transition from VF & Aura to LWC, and reduced siloed knowledge within the team.- Deployed best practices in engineering to achieve a reduction in production defects, enhance overall quality by creating reusable patterns to common solutions, gain insight into system health through logging and slack error notifications, and adopt a common set of coding standards and styles.- Developed a git-based CI/CD pipeline used to capture all source code changes and automate deployment of source code to staging and production environments, with automatic rollback on test failures, greatly reducing manual overhead and mistakes in the deployment process.

I am the lead developer and technical architect for an enterprise Salesforce platform. Our platform hosts a heavily customized community that is used by all active undergraduate students at the University of Colorado - Boulder to facilitate meetings and communications with academic advisors and other members of the student success team.
