I was responsible for analyzing and documenting warranty part returns and preparing and analyzing metallurgical and weld samples under the supervision of the lead test and warranty engineer. I also supported other business functions in the prototype facility and manufacturing plant, working closely with product and quality engineers.I stayed with Benteler during my whole education at Kettering University, as a freshman all the way through to graduation after submitting a final thesis project, that was performed at Benteler, to Kettering.Successes include the creation of a guidebook to heat management materials for use in hot-end exhaust parts, currently in use by Benteler product engineers in making materials selections in current and future designs, as well the documentation of production line tooling to recover $650,000 in refurbishment costs.
