Security Manager
Current*Coordinate law enforcement and security issues with local police and other community law enforcement partners. *Develops operating budget for the personnel, equipment, material and supply needs of the Security Management Program then coordinates adjustments as needed throughout the year.*Investigates crime activities to include interrogation of suspects when necessary.*Monitors security statistics for trends, develops policies and facilitates multidisclipinary group meetings to address security issues impacting operations as needed and in a timely manner.*Planning, operation and management of The Children?s Hospital?s Network of Care (NOC) Security Management Program.*Parking, manage parking on 48 acre campus, 8 employee and 3 visitor lots. Parking assignments for 6000 employees, enforcement, signage, gates and security parking patrol.*Employee badge management of computer software and data for all hospital employee badges for their access levels to all doors, medication rooms, parking lots and specialty assignments.*Access Control, manage security software controlling doors, gates, alarms and cameras for the Children’s Hospital main campus and all 13 Network of Care sites throughout the Denver metro area.*Training and orientation for hospital personnel on security policies and procedures. Also train and coordinate drills and tabletops with Safety manager and Emergency Preparedness Manager.
