The Site Lead is responsible for all VA Benefits Advisors at the installation. This individual is responsible for not only VA Benefits Briefings but the daily operations of the site. Oversees the delivery of all VA transition and Military Life Cycle events at the installation and any associated itinerant locations. Assigns personnel to the various events scheduled to occur at the permanent location as well as any associated itinerant locations to ensure 100% coverage of Service requests for group and individual VA services. Manage logistics requirements for the respective support locations. Logistics management includes for all required resources to facilitate training and one-on-one assistance. Site Leads are responsible for conducting ongoing quality evaluations of the VA Benefits Advisors to assist with maintaining a high quality and effective VA transition program. VA Benefits Advisors also support outreach and economic initiatives to create synergy between the transition from military service and achieving successful outcomes.

VA Benefits Advisors are responsible for the effective delivery of standardized courses of instruction for TAP and the MLC. This includes but is not limited to four-hour and two-hour classes on VA benefits and services, and facilitation of a 16-hour Servicemember-selected course on pursuing technical careers after transition. VA Benefits Advisors are also supporting outreach and economic initiatives to create synergy between the transition from military service and achieving successful outcomes.

Supervisor of all organizational operation/training functions for an institution with over 813 members. Responsibilities include directing, planning, training management, tracking, operations execution, personnel security, physical security, intelligence, counterintelligence, imagery analysis missions, synchronization, logistics, human resources, training development and implementation, legal support, and military pay/benefits. Coordinator for all non-organization resource requirements for operations.

U.S. Army Strategic Studies Class #62The Army’s culminating enlisted Professional Military Education (PME) institution is the Sergeants Major Course. This course provides tools to develop critical reasoning, creative thinking and decision-making skills. Soldiers are provided an education that teaches them to enhance their character, self-expression, and strengthen teamwork abilities. The course assists in the development of logical, practical and original reasoning abilities necessary for problem solving. Students analyze problems based on available information, arrive at logical solutions and decisions with reasonable speed, communicate reasoning and decisions orally and in writing, and supervise to ensure proper execution. Intellectual honesty, integrity, and professional values and standards are highly stressed. The SMC contains a total of 1,484.7 instructional hours.

Responsibilities include performance evaluations/awards, promotions, staffing, equal opportunity compliance, legal support, training, professional development, operations, and military pay/benefits. Direct supervisor of 23 personnel. Coordinator for all ceremonial and social events for the organization.

Supervisor of all organizational operation functions for a military outfit with over 408 members. Responsibilities include directing, planning, training management, tracking, operations execution, personnel security, physical security, intelligence, counterintelligence, imagery analysis missions, synchronization, logistics, human resources, legal support, and military pay/benefits. Direct supervisor of 16 staff personnel.

First Sergeant of both a 227-member and 141-member organization. Responsibilities include development of 110 subordinate leaders, training, performance evaluations/awards, promotions, staffing, equal opportunity compliance, legal support, and military pay. Assisted supervisor implement directives, policies and procedures. Planned, coordinated, and conducted a comprehensive training program to prepare organization for a variety of operations.

Senior Drill Sergeant Leader of the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School. Supervised 14 Drill Sergeant Leaders; plans, coordinates and organizes all assets to train 680 Drill Sergeant Candidates annually. Demonstrated excellent training proficiency in the areas critical for effective instruction of the basic training program by use of visual, verbal, tangible training aids in a diverse environment for new Soldiers within the initial entry environment of the U.S. Army.
