Supervise the maintenance department of the facility. Responsible for overall equipment maintenance and PM program, troubleshooting machine problems, and improving overall equipment reliability. In addition, oversee the stock room, MRO program, and implement capital equipment projects.

Manage the maintenance of packaging and compounding areas for a 120,000 sq ft pharmaceutical plant. Also manage the calibration group which supports manufacturing, laboratories, and R&D.

Project management of capital improvements in the filling & packaging of liquid pharmaceuticals, following cGMP practices. Packaging Engineering for components and component specifications.

Project management of the Mascara/Powders/Lit Pak Business Unit through capital improvements. Supervision of Packaging Mechanic Team.Project leader of initiative to downsize talc container resulting in annual savings of $1,380,000 in materials. Received Presidents Award for this initiative.Managed the purchase and coordinated the installation of two new shrink-wrap lines resulting in an annual savings of $550,000 in carton costs. Continued the management of state-of-the-art, cosmetic powder pressing equipment. Redesigned change parts on mascara filler to reduce changeover time by 200%. Implemented a new cutting tool across the floor which significantly reduced laceration injuries.

Held mutliple positions from turn foreman to project engineering role. Also did field vibration analysis for Maintenance technology group.
