TBOVision owned the optometry practices inside of 12 Visionworks buildings.I was responsible for the administrative functions. This included payroll for 50 technicians and the related HR functions, payout for independent doctors, claims management, credentialing, accounting and customer service issues.Used an internal HR tracking system in connection to payroll service to assure all proper HR guidelines were followed and all required documentation was maintained.Processed complex payout calculations to pay independent contracted doctors and to maintain their paperwork.Maintained an AR that was under 120 days.Made connections to cost effective electronic claims clearing house to speed payment.Assured all doctors were credentialed at all locations and NCQA remained updated.Established proper patterns for posting all business activity into Quickbooks Desktop and later Quickbooks Online. Including basic sales transactions, third party postings, expenses and complex payroll transactions.Took responsibility for all escalated customer service calls to resolve patient issues.Strong believer in documenting and following written policy and procedure to assure consistent care and response to patient needs and concerns.

I was responsible for the selection, creation and implementation of all technologies in the company including computer, copier, fax, cellular, pagers and scanner technology. The company started as a privately held optometric management company with four corporate team members and 40 locations and grew to a publicly held company (NASDAQ: EYES) with over one hundred team members at corporate and over 2000 team members nationwide before its end in 2000.My primary responsibility was all programming and technology for the company.Additionally I was claims manager and office manager.

Med IS supplied eye care practice software to manage eye care practices and to do claims billing and management for clients. My role was software development and management of the claims team as well as software support and installation.
