Senior Leadership Position, with overall leadership of FMG’s general insurance pricing function. Responsibilities included:- Developing pricing strategies for FMG’s general insurance products- Ensuring pricing models are developed and maintained to be -competitive, high performing and ensure on-going sustainability- Ensuring overall alignment with FMG’s wider strategic priorities and goals.- Overall accountability to ensure FMG complies with the FENZ and EQC legislative requirements. The role required me to work closely with key C-level executives (including the CEO & CFO), Senior managers in Product, Underwriting & Sales, and FMG’s Product and Pricing committee.I led a specialist team of pricing data analysts who focused on improving the performance and competitiveness of FMG’s products. Broader responsibilities of the role included representing FMG on the Insurance Council of NZ (ICNZ) Motor committee industry body and an industry working group working with DIA on a legislative review of FENZ funding model. I was also the Guidewire product owner for all product and pricing changes.

A management position with responsibility ensure pricing of FMG general insurance products were maintained to be competitive and ensure long term on-going sustainability of the mutual. I led a specialist team of pricing data analysts who focused on improving the performance and competitiveness of FMG’s products. Additional responsibilities included a 12-month term (Apr 2018 – Mar 2019) in a support role to the Executive Leadership Team.

Data analyst role working in FMG’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing team. Responsibilities included data analysis and report development for most business units across FMG.The role also included a secondment as a product subject matter expert (Jul 2011 to Mar 2012) as part of a major project to migrate the core policy administration system to the Guidewire product suite.
