In his current role as Program Manager, Mr. Ford is responsible for a variety of activities associated with client, these include: project scheduling and budget estimates, design & constructability reviews, review of final drawings for construction bid packages, development of specifications, FAA reviews, hardware evaluations, field support, verification of design process reports, and temporary design for outage requirements. In addition, Mr. Ford oversees coordination with other client organizations such as Substation Design, Telecommunications (OPGW), Civil Engineering (Access Roads & Grading), Construction (Outage & Constructability), Geotech, Environmental, and various agency reviews

Transmission Line Design from 13.2-kV to 500-kV. Responsible for TL design activities and coordination for various 500-kV, 230-kV, 161-kV, 69-kV, 46-kV, and 13-kV transmission and distribution lines in various system. This included both tower lines and direct embedment and TSP pole lines. Project scoping and scheduling, coordination with other utilities, crossing design, TSP and structure development, installation of line switches, substation entrance design for new and existing substations, fiber optic cable installation, FAA studies and hazard sphere installation, aeronautical lighting design, TL relocations, design reviews, construction support, field reviews, and as-built drawings.
