As an Engineering Foreman I am responsible for inspection, maintenance and repair of main line railroad track on the Rocky Mountain Service Unit for Union Pacific Railroad. As a foreman, I ensure the railroad tracks are safe for freight and passenger train movement thru one of the most challenging and high traffic environments in the United States, making repairs based on company standards. I'm currently leading a 12 man regional gang. Our work varies, but recent projects include replacing 100% wood and concrete ties in problem areas, laying new rail, building and cutting in new switches, supporting large production work groups and track repair after derailments. I am also involved with Total Safety Culture, which is an employee-owned safety improvement movement. My goal is to ensure myself and the coworkers I'm responsible for stay safe, no matter the work or environment.

We put an a emphasis on service projects, cleanups and responsible off-road use. Although we are Utah-based, we have developed quite a community with members in the Rocky Mountain area and beyond.
