St. John's established its Foundation to provide philanthropic support for building projects, equipment and patient care services for Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo and St. John's Regional Hospital in Oxnard serving Ventura County. As Past Board Chair, I lead the Board in working closely with the Foundation staff in a comprehensive fund development program, which incorporates: campaign outreach, special events, private Foundation and Corporate Grants along with individual giving and planned gifts.

Recruited to Southeast Florida to improve the corporation’s ROE by developing and implementing a strategic and tactical sales plan to increase gross revenues, manage to expenses and introduce business banking. Responsible for the entire financial position and operations of 13 retail consumer branches. Responsibilities included financial performance, revenue, cost control, budgeting, core deposit growth, loan production, business development and human resource management of the entire region.
