Freedom Space Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of ATLAS Space Operations

We are a 501c(6) nonprofit consortium of Small Government Contractors in Colorado. The purpose of the organization is to provide Small Government Contractors, Subcontractors, Service Providers, and Manufacturers opportunities to network, collaborate, and grow! The organization meets monthly, alternating between Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. Meetings are open to both small and large Government Contractors, Service Providers, and Manufacturing Companies from across the Rocky Mountain Region. Our aim is to assist Small Government Contractors in identifying the people, resources, and organizations needed to win Government Contracts!

GII provides railroad car storage, leases railroad maintenance facilities, and provides leased warehouse space. Additionally, GII has certified truck scales and can provide on and off loading of railroad delivered materials. GII also has the ability to do limited excavation and site clean up.

Responsibilities include Program Management of 11 current contracts and 4 special projects, Business Development for growth with existing customers, and long range strategy focused on new business opportunities. Operational management of our corporate Software Factory - "Experimental Station". Maintaining a comprehensive awareness of emerging opportunities and ensuring the organization remains visible and engaged with the customer.

Provide space system subject matter expertise with experience in acquisition and operations of DoD space programs and technologies. Responsible for translating the client’s requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for multi-spectral space systems and integrating architecture. Advocate for the client on the architectural design to address space based challenges supporting the warfighter. Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain enterprise-wide solutions for complex space systems using internally created and/or off the shelf products in a multi-disciplinary, multi-contractor environment. Analyze and evaluate all or part of existing or new peripheral, network, and system requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provide direction for design activities.

Business Unit Manager for all US Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Intelligence Community (IC) activities for ISYS Technologies. Responsibilities include Program Management of current contracts, Business Development for growth with existing customers, and long range strategy focused on new business opportunities. Maintaining a comprehensive awareness of emerging opportunities and ensuring the organization remains visible and engaged with the customer. My primary goal is to establish and maintain relationships with current and future customers to ensure ISYS Technologies is viewed as a trusted partner. This requires frequent visits to support corporate interactions, as well as, independent interactions to develop close relationships, understand customer needs, and to educate our customers on ISYS Technologies capabilities and our commitment to customer success.

Business Development & Capture Manager for ISYS Technologies focused on Defense Department and Intelligence Community Business areas. Responsibilities include business development, growth, capture, and strategy focused on new business opportunities in IT & Cyber Security. Maintaining a comprehensive awareness of emerging opportunities and ensuring the organization remains visible and engaged with the customer. My primary goal is to establish and maintain relationships with current and future customers to ensure ISYS Technologies is viewed as a trusted partner. This requires frequent visits to support corporate interactions, as well as, independent interactions to develop close relationships, understand customer needs, and to educate our customers on ISYS Technologies capabilities and our commitment to customer success.

(Classified Programs Manager) Led a 12 person section including an augmentation team working in a secure classified area in preparation for a combat deployment to Afghanistan. Conducted planning, coordination, synchronization, resourcing and implementation of highly classified Department of Defense programs in support of U.S. strategic, operational, and tactical objectives. Responsible for ensuring full access to national and theater-level space assets related to Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance, overhead persistent infrared detection, refined use of satellite communications, and integration of friendly force tracking data. Conducted investigations of problems and recommends corrective actions when appropriate.

Personally selected by the Secretary of the Air Force to lead a handpicked Joint organization of 100+ military, government civilian, & contractor personnel reporting directly to the Office of the Secretary of Defense with strategic implications across the entire National Space Architecture. Director provided very broad and general guidance covering long range program plans, objectives and policies relying on the Deputy to carry out assigned responsibilities with minimum guidance. Deputy exercised considerable independence with responsibility for accomplishing the ORS mission referring to the Director only those issues involving significant policy concerns or where program/project issues required substantial deviation from normal procedures. Recommendations and conclusions by the Deputy were authoritative.

Selected by the Commanding General of US Army Space & Missile Defense Command to lead in the stand-up of a new Joint Service organization responsible for providing rapid augmentation & reconstitution of critical space based capabilities to Joint Force Commanders. Responsible for 15+ military, government civilian, & contractor personnel leveraging a $750M budget across the Program Objective Memorandum. Focused on developing rapid reaction space capabilities to meet user requirements; conducted outreach and engagements with Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies to understand and develop their requirements; developed unique space based solutions to meet urgent needs and augment current space capability gaps; and oversaw the design and develop of spacecraft command and control architectures for future systems.

National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Director’s representative to the Commander of US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). Provided subject matter expertise on the capabilities, limitations, and employment of all NRO assets; ensured SOUTHCOM’s space-based requirements were properly articulated to the NRO; integrated into all aspects of the Command’s operations to monitor related projects; provided operational and exercise support to the Command and its components; conducted coordination for all NRO testing and evaluation within the Command’s Area of Responsibility. Developed a coordinated and dynamic relationship with the national intelligence community partners and conducted outreach support to federal law enforcement agencies.

Accountable for all aspects of three separate Space Operation System initiatives. Managed, controlled, and directed all phases of concept development, prototyping, acquisition, experimentation, and transition of the Space Operation System initiatives into the Army and other Services. Led a team of two military personnel and thee major contractor teams comprised of 15 technicians, engineers, logisticians, and program managers. Ensured all project experimentation and demonstration objectives meet Army and Joint performance, cost, and schedule baselines. As the Liaison Officer to the Intelligence Community, developed a coordinated and dynamic relationship with the national intelligence community partners to advance joint space programs.

Provided intermediate aviation maintenance for 70 aircraft valued at more than $650M, with an annual operating budget in excess of $20M.
