Senior Engineering Manager / Special Projects
CurrentManage/Design/Engineer solutions for civil, mechanical and environmental applications as needed. Provide Engineering and construction support for designs, reports and tests conducted in the field. Consult with in-house management of multiple departments and the client’s engineering staff on design issues and needs, product research, troubleshoot application and production deficiencies as well as suggest corrective action. Develop project management tools for both cost and production tracking needs. Create detailed work plans for large multifaceted projects explaining the sequence of tasks involved to safely achieve a quality product. Study contracts of potential and awarded projects to better understand our scope, identify pitfalls and ensure the company is fully compensated. Lead/develop presentations while working to meet not only our goals but those of our clients. • Manage or consult on Government projects requiring heavy documentation and processes • Often assigned to clients or projects where considerable re-engineering is expected
