  Kevin and I worked at Philips Airvision and later at King Nutronics together. At both companies Kevin was the software/firmware engineer writing code in ASM, C, C++ and Visual Basic. We worked on an existing Intel 8088/8087 project with code written in over 132 assembly modules with complex math operations (PID) and almost no comments. By 2009 Kevin had converted about 30% of the code to more legible C (C++ wasn't available for this processor) and commented the rest of the code. At King Nutronics, all test and calibration procedures was on a piece of scratch paper on technician's desk or previous engineer's notebook. Kevin took it upon himself and created a full fledged test and calibration procedure for most of the existing and upcoming projects in hard copy and electronic format.His leadership and his organization skills changed the company's approach documenting projects.He created numerous diagnostic software tools to ease the job of our technicians and production people.One of Kevin's strength is his ability to work with people. This period of working with Kevin in my 38 years of engineering career was the most pleasant one.
