Key Responsibilities:• Operate and monitor HVAC and Refrigeration System using Almaco monitoring software.• Execute preventive maintenance schedule of HVAC and Refrigeration machineries such as chiller unit, air handling unit, cabin aircon unit, walk-in refrigerator, undercounter refrigerator, ice machine and other equipment.• Troubleshoot and repair of HVAC and Refrigeration machineries such as mechanical and electrical components, brazing copper pipes, programming modules and other related spareparts.• Alarm test and calibration of chiller/freezer room thermometer and man-trap, fire damper, refrigerant leak sensor and other safety features of the HVAC and Refrigeration system.• Perform assigned work scope of guest and crew complaint in cabins, galleys, and other public areas.• Perform insulation works of HVAC and Refrigeration piping system.• Check and record spare parts and consumables inventories.• Diagnose and repair PCB board of minibar Peltier technology type.Work Accomplishment:• Zero complaint from guest evaluation survey.• Finished contracts with high expectation and management satisfactions.• Step-up as Refrigeration Engineer as necessary

Singapore

Key Responsibilities:•Outfit Superintendent, Lead and monitor all trade’s coordination of works – production, commissioning and hand-over stages of Living Quarters.•Plan, execute and supervise in-house/sub-contractors in installation and alignment work of oil rig machineries and HVAC equipment including electrical and mechanical components, pipe line including instrumentation and its auxiliary components. •Ensure installation procedures and quality of works in accordance to approved drawing, acceptance criteria and marine standards like ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, SOLAS and ABS.•Conduct VQE and FAT equipment inspection of HVAC & refrigeration and other marine systems in accordance with approved specifications.•Liaise with client, class surveyor, engineering and QA/QC for inspection and class requirement of HVAC & Refrigeration and other marine systems.•Perform testing and commissioning of HVAC & refrigeration system such as equipment start-up, duct air-balancing, chilled water balancing and room differential pressure setting.•Supervise architectural outfit trade in production, testing and commissioning.•Survey repair rig of mechanical system including HVAC&R in accordance with International Codes and Standards.•Establish and implement safe working procedure for all operation in coordination with Yard’s safety campaign to ensure zero accident and reduce downtime.•Perform HVAC & refrigeration and other marine systems preservation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment as per vendor recommendation and yard procedure.•Experience in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, fire-fighting equipment, pump, diesel engine, drillfloor equipment, hydraulic powered equipment & other drilling/marine systems.Work Accomplishment•Awarded Silver for iQC Continuous Improvement competition, as a member.•Served as a mentor in Mechanical System Section.•Finished and delivered 4 Jack-up B-class rig and 4 Semi-submersible rig in architectural outfit and mechanical trades.
