I am a A/Detective Inspector currently working in the North East Regional Cyber Crime Unit where I manage the NEROCUs Cybercrime unit and DICE team. In this role I manage cybercrime, dark web and cryptocurrency investigations and intelligence development.I am a qualified detective having completed the Initial Crime Investigators Development Programme. I am also PIP level 2 trained and accredited (serious and complex investigations).My previous roles were in the North East Regional Cyber Crime Unit, where I worked as a detective sergeant. The unit investigated cyber dependant and enabled crime and worked out of a ISO 17025 laboratory.I also worked as the detective sergeant working in the North East for DICE UK, where I manage dark web and cryptocurrency investigations and intelligence.I have been trained to perform forensic data recovery and then conduct and manage the subsequent criminal investigation.I am qualified Intelligence manager, having completed the IPP (Intelligence Professionalisation Programme), maintained by the College of Police.
