Downtown Portland

I walked the streets of downtown Portland for the PBA helping people with directions, suggestions, advice or any other type of information they may have needed. I also staffed a mobile information kiosk full of maps and brochures about Portland area businesses and organizations. As an Ambassador I became an expert in Portland businesses, restaurants, attractions, social services, governmental organizations, and the Trimet transit system. During this time I also worked for Trimet several times assisting their riders during the construction of the new transit mall in downtown.

Nw Portland

I scooped ice cream and made frozen cakes and desserts. For the last four years I was in a supervisory role and for the last two I was a Senior Shift Leader, meaning I was responsible for all employees while on shift and for maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere at all times. I handled nightly income deposits and helped the owner order and stock goods and supplies.
