Mr. Hester joined N.K. Engineers, Inc. as a Partner to help serve their existing client base, drive project backlog to completion and further the development of projects that were in the early stages of client financial analysis. For more than 20 MW of cogeneration projects, Greg acted as the program manager to lead a strong team of design professionals including the mechanical, structural, site-civil, architectural and acoustical engineers to help ensure that the contractors could fulfill their schedule-based obligations. Greg was an integral part of projects that included Fuel Cells, Reciprocating Engines (as large as 7.5 MW), Gas Turbines (up to 25 MW), stand-alone Packaged Watertube Boilers and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (up to 200 klbs/hr), Natural Gas Compressors (up to 1750 HP) and the design of a central chilled water plant for a large hospital network.

Director of Project Development/Engineering - Strategic Partnership's GroupMr. Hester provided leadership and direction for customers interested in strategic partnerships with NORESCO. Mr. Hester had overall responsibility for the development team’s financial performance and quality of deliverable to NORESCO’s customer base. The development team was responsible for developing detailed engineering design, savings calculations, measurement and verification methodology, contractor scopes and pricing and financial analysis and procurement alternatives. Greg was also responsible for developing his team’s oral and written presentation and technical skills in order to facilitate customer presentations and future business offerings for NORESCO. Mr Hester was accountable for customer account management and satisfaction from inception through installation and final job sign-off. Greg started his Carrier at United Technologies in 2000 and was promoted very aggressively to Team Leader in 2001, Area Engineering Manager in 2005, Regional Manager in late 2006 and Director in 2009.

Mr. Hester provided technical application expertise to the Home and Building Control Division selling and operations teams. Greg identified and investigated mechanical, electrical and HVAC opportunities for Honeywell customers that resulted in energy conservation and comfort improvement. Mr. Hester also evaluated fire protection and security opportunities within customer facilities and designed, estimated and supervised installation of new energy efficient heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in performance contracting projects. Greg had sole responsibility for calculating overall guaranteed cost savings for each customer, for the development of accurate and repeatable measurement and verification (M&V) plans and for ensuring customer satisfaction.
