I have 15 years of professional level IT support experience working my way from an entry level technician to Senior Computer Technician supporting everything from PC’s, laptops, printers, scanners, wireless devices, switches and servers. One of the highlights to my career was the opportunity migrate Microsoft Windows Server 2000 to Microsoft Server 2003. During this process, followed directions sent form Corporate office on steps to take to have an successful migration. Once migration completed, applications re-installed and data restored, performed tests to verify that applications worked properly before end users used the system. I have been involved in the implementation of replacing out-of-date server HP Proliant DL 380 G3 hardware to new HP Proliant DL 380 G5 hardware. Also, I was involved in migration of Cisco 3500 switches to HP 3500 Procurve switches. I was always comfortable in my abilities to complete these projects from training I received from the first supervisor I had as an entry-level technician. This training led to me becoming an Senior Computer Technician and the responsibility of supporting three buildings and external customers in Northeast GA.I consistently performed to high standards and was singled out for my great work during annual reviews. I always keep that experience at the core of my work ethic and it has proven to be a key element in my IT career. Currently, studying to take MCSA-Solutions Associate and eventually taking exams for MSCE-Solutions Expert. I am one who loves to learn new technologies and I am hoping to get cloud-computing and virtualization.Specialties: Desktop Support, Hardware and software support, excellent communication, speed and accuracy
