National Sustainability Manager, Commercial Property
Greg Johnson was Stockland’s National Sustainability Manager, providing support to the Commercial Property business. With more than 35 years of experience in the property industry in building services, asset management and sustainability, Greg has been responsible for the development and implementation of sustainability policy and strategy over the last 18 years.Greg spent 12 years in the HVAC sector before changing career and working as an Engineering Manager leading facility management teams for 8 years with Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle managing all facets of building operations including energy, water and waste management. Greg’s journey as a Sustainability Manager commenced in 2002 at Colonial First State Property and continues in his role at Stockland where he has been for 13 years.With his background in building services, operations and asset management and sustainability, Greg has a comprehensive understanding of the issues of measuring the performance of buildings and the integration of sustainability into operations for existing buildings and in design for new developments.Greg has a wealth of knowledge and experience having led the development of programs across a diverse range of disciplines including risk management, climate adaptation and resilience, accessibility and the rollout of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
