Commander of Detachment 5 (Air Force Life Cycle Management Center) at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Alabama. Responsible for the readiness, professional development, personnel administration, facility management, and security for 1,600 personnel developing and sustaining $1.2B in global networks.

Led 32 military and civlian professionals providing day-to-day operations and was responsible for developing, executing, evaluating and revising three resident core courses. The department educates over 500 mid-level officers on the profession of arms, requisites of command, nature of war, and application of air, space and cyberspace power at the operational level of war, with a focus on leadership and strategy.

Iraq

Lead Project Manager for planning and development of Air Force and Civil Aviation Communication systems for entire country. Planned and directed complete conversion of all air traffic control facilities from satellite system to fiber optics in less than 6 months. Seamlessly integrated entire air traffic control radars and communications into single backbone. Converted entire control of aircraft throughout country from military to civilian control.

Managed day-to-day operations and responsible for developing, executing, evaluating and revising three resident core courses. Directed intensive classroom preparation for 30 faculty members, including US and foreign field grade officers and civilians. Conducted department preparations for Higher Headquarters and Joint Staff inspections and civilian accreditation.

Program Manager for integration of Center-level long-range planning cell; directly responsible for developing training policy to ensure operational Command and Control of over 15,000 personnel in five geographically separated locations• Directly requested by Headquarters’ Senior Leader to developed first-ever real time digital dashboard; improving headquarter response to critical developments while enabling senior leaders up-to-date information regarding daily operations• Led key development processes for engineering, purchasing and maintaining configuration management of Senior Leader’s digital dashboard
