​​The Mission of the Westmoreland Elite VBC is to provide the following: 1. An encouraging environment where young athletes can develop their volleyball skills and knowledge to the highest level they are able in a competitive Volleyball Program. 2. An opportunity where the players will offer quality volleyball training to help players acquire technical, tactical and mental skills in an encouraging yet competitive arena, while keeping the fees at a reasonable cost to the players and their families. 3. An atmosphere where parents, players and coaches are able to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the game of volleyball. 4. An environment where parents, players and coaches aspire to conduct themselves in a manner that respects themselves, their families, their coaches, their teammates, their club and the sport. 5. An opportunity for each and every player to achieve their personal goals as well as the team goals. 6. A place where the "journey" of learning and growing as a volleyball player and a person is promoted at every aspect of the experience. "Players on a team, working together, can accomplish greater true success than as individuals," is how we define "WEST E" for our players, teams and the club as a whole. Here at Westmoreland Elite VBC, we will not define success by championships or trophies. Success will be achieved by our players and teams as they improve and grow over time. It is our goal to have the entire season run as smoothly as possible. Please know that the following ideas are what we have found to work best for our coaches, parents and players.

Proprietor and Trainer: Greg LockleyCoach Lockley, a graduate/player of Peabody High (84), University of Pittsburgh, (89) started his coaching career immediately after his college career. Coaching with his alma mater; He joined the coaching staff at Chatham University in 1994 as an Assistant Coach and became Head Coach in 1998. Once becoming the Cougars Head Coach, he led the volleyball team to three NCAA, AWCC Championships and the university’s 1st ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. He was also named Coach of the Year in 1998 &1999. He was the first coach in Chatham University history of athletics to accumulate 100+ wins. Before coaching at Chatham, Coach Lockley has been a high school and Junior Olympic coach for girls and boys at several area high schools and clubs. Attended several USA and National coaching convention. Coach Lockley has over 30 years of volleyball exposure and experience.Currently: Director of Progressive Sports Training and Camps. Director for the KRVA, USA High Performance Program. Co-Director/Director of Coaches for Westmoreland Elite Volleyball Club. Head Coach, Gateway High School Girls’ and Boys’ Volleyball Teams. The mission of the USAV High Performance Program is to build a national pipeline of junior volleyball athletes and coaches, creating broad opportunities for advancing the level of play, competition and skill development throughout the sport.

Work with all students for many reasons and incidents. Handle and control discipline problems throughout the school. Build relationships with outside community agencies and organizations for advancement our students.Work with all teacher/staff for all school programs and events. Also oversee all school field trips and activities.
