Consulting small to large businesses for over 20 years, analyzing urban renewal plans and economic development plans. As the District Director (DD), I served as the senior executive leader of the Colorado District Office. I was responsible for providing effective leadership, management and oversight required to optimize the deployment of all SBA programs and services (Counseling, Capital and Contracting) throughout the state to better serve the Small Business Community. I was accountable for the successful development, management and implementation of SBA's strategic plan for Colorado. Under my leadership, the office secured over $2.9 billion in small business loans, awarded $4.6 billion in federal contracts, creating and/or retaining 46,000 jobs for small business in Colorado.
