• Manage cross-discipline Safe Work Practice Team with the goal of appropriately and effectively managing change to any of the life critical policies employed at FHR Corpus Christi Sites.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for field application of Life Critical Policies as they apply to day-to-day business as well as special projects or turnarounds, both on and off-site.
• Assist other facilities within the Flint Hills Resources organization with interpretation, expansion, revision or creation of Safe Work Practices policies or procedures utilizing their site-specific culture and.

• Manage safe work processes of ten operating units including a Crude, Fluid Catalytic Cracker, Sulfur Recovery, Hydro-treating and Light Ends Unit as well as Waste Water Treatment and Utilities.
• Actively engage organization and address issues proactively and reactively as a member of both the Safe Work Practices Team and Electrical Safe Work Task Force Team.
• Actively create, revise, and update FHR Health and Safety Policies and Procedures to reflect new 2015 NFPA 70E standard. Ensure proper field practice and understanding between Electrical and Operations groups.
• Act as Lead Safety and provide assistance and guidance to operations and contractors during Turnaround and Outage activities.
• Assist in maintaining a 100% compliance rate in regards to OSHA regulations.

• Manage safe work processes of six operating units including, Chemicals, Hydro-treating and over 200,000 barrels of crude processing per day.
• Act as conduit between Electrical Group and Operations. Ensure proper usage of NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
• Actively engage as a member of Safe Work Practices team, update procedures to better benefit organization and the individuals that apply them each day.
