Develop training materials including system descriptions, operating procedures and qualification documentation. Provided advanced DCS simulator training and lesson plan development. Conducted instructor led training to client trainees as well as operations and maintenance personnel on power plant topics and technologies.

Responsibilities included the administration of all station safety, environmental, operations, maintenance and simulation training. Administrator for all SCR and ammonia systems including: SCR catalyst program, construction management, operational improvements, performance analysis, maintenance database and year-round preparation.

J.M. Stuart Generating Station – Dayton, Oh

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of four 600-megawatt super-critical boiler/turbine sets with distributed control systems (DCS). Oversee all generating station equipment to achieve targeted station availability and production within established operating procedures, maintenance parameters and capital budgets. Direct all station activities to maximize production and efficiency by establishing maintenance and operation priorities. Supervise union technicians in operations, maintenance and fuel handling. Develop and manage project proposals, equipment purchases, equipment clearances and preventive maintenance procedures. Simulator specialist conducting all Operations supervisor/control room operator development and certification.
