Leading a team of 6-7 testers simultaneously working on major product updates, such as new modules or GUI updates, or maintenance releases across 5 product streams for Iris Exchequer Accounts package (PC, web based, analytics, custom developments) and ProjectMinder (.NET based SaaS). Projects ranged from 3-12 months duration and 1-5 man years of effort. Iris Exchequer used by 20,000 businesses globally.• Defined Test Strategies and Plans for products in line with group standards. Main focus of strategies was to clearly identify testing requirements, communication, reporting and responsibilities for each product and acceptance criteria.• Established automated regression testing for ProjectMinder. • Collaborated with Agile coach to introduce Agile practices into one product stream reducing release cycles form 6-9 months to 6 weeks.• Facilitated changes across projects to improve test efficiency and effectiveness – processes (Waterfall and Agile) and tools (JIRA, Test Manager, TFS). • Took part in product release planning to ensure all test activities are identified, scheduled and resourced and action plans in place for identified test risks.
