Dick's Sporting Goods offers a wide variety of sporting services. One of the most difficult is offering on-site golf technician, whose duties go beyond fixing and selling golf equipment. My duties as the golf technician included replacing grips, shaft and hosel repair, and maintaining an overall balance of the club. I was also involved in the process of club fitting and tailoring to the specific needs of the customers. In reality there is a very delicate art to the process of selling high end golf equipment, and the need to satisfy the customer is extremely important.
