Direct all academic advising and serve as the Pennsylvania Department of Education certifying officer for teacher certification programs in the College of Education, as well as other colleges offering certification programs at Penn State.

Teach a first-year seminar course each fall semester in the College of Education. In addition to my advising responsibilities, I coordinated the College of Education's involvement with New Student and Transfer Student Orientations.

Served as Acting Director while the Director was out on an extended leave of absence for medical reasons. During this time, I managed our departmental budget and all staffing issues, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day College of Education academic advising and teacher certification operations. Regularly communicated and met with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies during this time.

Advised a caseload of approximately 250 College of Education undergraduate students. Also served as the College's liaison to Undergraduate Admissions during this time period.
