Streamed as an electrical engineer in the royal navy for 6 years. 5 years as a Service Technician with AES ltd. Electrically testing and maintaining workshop machinery across Scotland with Select 218 18th edition qualified. Also qualified as a LEV testing engineer with a P601 qualification. Testing dust and fume extraction systems keeping in line with current standards and regulations. Also completed SMSTS training for site safety management. Health and safety minded with an enthusiastic approach to work.Now working with Siemens Mobility Ltd as an Infrastructure Technician conducting maintenance on the Edinburgh Trams network. Electrical works including HV switching Operations on the 11KV substations to allow maintenance to be carried out safely. Conducting mechanical checks and maintenance on the Tram rails keeping the network system to a high standard of reliability and condition.
