Mind over muscle.A medical accident at a young age led me to constantly pursue ways to deal with it. That led to martial arts training where I was able to simultaneously forget about my hearing loss and at the same time be put in difficult physical situations. Forcing myself to address my need to be able to handle physical aggression made me that much stronger to overcome my challenges. Everything I’ve done since has instilled high level interpersonal and coaching traits from being an avid Martial Artist and Instructor, traveling internationally for training as well as obtaining Instructor and Professor status in the highly demanding art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Promoted to the rank of Black Belt directly from the highly respected 5th degree Black Belt Milton Regis and 9th degree Red Belt Grand Master Francisco Mansor from Brazil.
