With over 32 years of work experience in the energy sector, I was a seasoned Team Leader at Suncor Energy and am currently a Senior Financial Analyst at HollyFrontier, a leading independent petroleum refiner and marketer. As a designated accountant (CPA, CMA), I have strong skills in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. I lead the Capital Asset Accounting team at Suncor Energy, where I managed the accounting, month-end process, capital policies, SOX processes and reporting for multi-billion dollar capital projects; including oil sands, refining, distribution and renewable energy. I also supported the business units and corporate functions with financial analysis, risk assessment, and decision making. At HollyFrontier, I continue to apply my analytical expertise to provide accurate and timely financial information, insights, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
