With over 11 years of work experience, I am a seasoned general manager with a passion for business innovation and manufacturing operations. I lead the production and distribution of premium quality, low-smoke and smokeless solid fuel products at Patrick Murphy & Sons Fuels, one of Ireland's leading manufacturers in the industry. I am driven by the mission of providing clean, efficient, and affordable energy solutions to our customers across Ireland and the UK. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having also founded MyHaulier, a cloud-based transport management system for businesses.As the general manager of Patrick Murphy & Sons Fuels, I oversee the daily operations of our state-of-the-art plant in Ovens, Co. Cork, where we produce over 50,000 tonnes of solid fuel per year. I also manage the sales and marketing of our products, as well as the customer service and quality control. I am responsible for ensuring the compliance with environmental and health and safety standards, as well as the optimization of costs and efficiency. I have successfully implemented several business innovation projects, such as introducing new products, expanding our distribution network, and developing our online presence. I have also leveraged my skills in operations management, manufacturing operations, and business innovation to support the growth and development of MyHaulier, a transport management system that I founded in 2021.
